Background:
Melissa is a CPA who primarily works in accounting and auditing. Melissa received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of South Alabama, August of 2001, and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August of 2002. She joined the firm in October of 2005. She came to the firm with experience as an auditor with KPMG, LLP, and as a cost accountant with Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama. Melissa currently works on a number of audits for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, homeowners’ associations, and construction contractors. She brings a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and dedication to the team.
